Quick Start
- Install & Activate the plugin in WordPress.
- Go to Five Star Reviews → Settings and adjust your display preferences.
- Create or edit a page and add the shortcode:
[fsr_reviews shown_reviews="12" sort="date_desc"]
- Publish. Your review cards and modal viewer will appear automatically.
Tip: You can later fine-tune defaults in Settings without changing your shortcode.
Shortcode & Options
Use the [fsr_reviews]
shortcode anywhere shortcodes are supported.

(number) — how many to display, e.g.12

Preview length, styles, and other defaults are set in Settings.

Admin: Managing Reviews
Go to Five Star Reviews → Reviews to review, filter, and bulk-manage entries.
- Filters & sort by rating, source, date, visibility, and more.
- Bulk actions to hide/unhide or delete.
- Visible controls whether a review appears on the front end.
Adding Reviews
Manual Import
Use the Manual Import tab to add reviews yourself, including rating, text, date, and optional photos/links.
Google Reviews (API)
Use the API Import tab, select Google, provide your API key and Place ID, pick how many to fetch, and run import.
Yelp Reviews (API)
Use the API Import tab, select Yelp, provide your API key and Yelp Business ID, pick how many to fetch, and run import.

- If you add custom CSS, prefer small, scoped rules to keep pages fast.
Troubleshooting
- Not seeing changes? Clear your WordPress/page-builder cache and your CDN/browser cache.
- Buttons not styled? Ensure your theme loads the site’s CSS and that your button classes are present.
- Import issues? Verify API keys/IDs, then check your server error logs. If needed, contact support.
